It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert W. Olawsky of Blue Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Olawsky and Bertha Olawsky (Neugebauer); his wife Irene Crutchett; and his brothers, Wilfred and Ruben Olawsky.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas Olawsky (Suzanne) of Webster, S. D., Ralph Olawsky (Sue) of Sioux Falls, S. D. and Peggy Jackson (Jim) of Bellefonte, P. A.; his grandchildren, Amy Reyes (Ruben), Nathan Olawsky, Matt Lichter (Brittany), Pete Lichter, Brent Olawsky (Jeannie) and Courtney Gardner (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Mark Reyes, Isaac Lichter and Evelyn Lichter.
