It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delores Jean Schavey of Blue Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Johnston and Margaret Johnston (Blaney); her husband Russell; her granddaughter Erin Schavey; and her siblings, Anna Brausen, Violet Nichtern, Evelyn McMurty and Ambrose Johnston.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Denise) of Blue Earth and Harlan Schavey (Sue) of Blue Earth; and her grandchildren, Brian (Vanessa), Kevin Schavey, Lauren and Grace Schavey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service (400 E 14th St, Blue Earth, MN 56013). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery (43103 120th St, Blue Earth, MN 56013).
