She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilman Peterson and Martha Peterson (Simon); her siblings, Ervin, Robert, Merlyn Peterson and Helen McNary; and her nephew Brandon Peterson.

She is survived by: her brother Gordy Peterson of Lake Mills, IA; and her niece Kerrie Taul of Montour, IA. She is also survived by her co-workers, her church family; and many other friends.
