She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Hacklander and Lila Hacklander; her husband Harvey H. Hulsebus of Defiance, IA; and her brother Darrel Hacklander. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Northwick (Mark), Larry Hulsebus (Lori) and Sharlene Stindtman (Todd); her grandchildren, Martha, Nathan, Stacie, Julia, Tyler, Aaron and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Willa Jane, Everest Kent, Adeline Kay, Jameson August, Jayda Charlotte and Callahan Warren; her sister Gail Nuessmeier (Donald); and her sister-in-law Norma Bechtel.
Betty was passionate about children all her life, and she would prefer any memorial donations to be made to anything dealing with children or children's education, at the donor's discretion.
