She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Clifford Rust and Dorothy Rust; her former husband Virgil Jewell; her sister Dr. Geraldine Rust Gehle; and her pet Sheba.

She is survived by: her sons, Bryan of Sun City, Arizona and Jason (Amelia); her grandson Quillian of Atlanta, Georgia; and her brother Richard Rust (Carol) of Riverside, California..
