He is survived by: his sons, Randy (Tina) of Kiester, Steven Thrond (Mary) of Walters and Paul Thrond (Jessica) of Licking, MO; his daughter-in-law Paty Thrond of Emmons; his grandchildren, Ashley Sinniah (Mark) of Roseville, Lauren Thrond (Cody) of Wells, Elizabeth Cisar (Jon) of Sioux Falls, Erin Sweet (Matt) of Otsego and Casey Thrond of Zimmerman; his great grandchildren, Leon, Camron Sinniah, Anders Nelson and Winston Sweet; his brothers, Truman Thrond (Barbara) of Albert Lea and Dale Thrond (Kathy) of Northwood; and his close friend Darlene Anderson of Blue Earth.
