He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen Weinberger and Mary Weinberger; and his siblings, Mary "Betty", Jim and Mike.

He is survived by: his significant other Virginia Murtfeldt; his children, Steve (Sondra), Dave (Kathy), Karen (Paul), Sandy (Tom) and Jeff (Shelly); his siblings, Tom (Sue), Ann (George), Margaret (Phil) and Susan (Bill); and also Virginia. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
