It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheldon Thomas Hess of Bloomington, Minnesota, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hess and Alyce Hess; his wife Kären Matison Hess; and his sister Sandra Chase. He is survived by: his children, Christine Orthmann (Craig) of Rosemount, MN and Timothy Hess of Bloomington, MN; his grandchildren, Katrina, Timmy, Annabel and Lilian; and his close friend Lee Claar. He is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.
