She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Helvig and Georgia Helvig (Eldridge); her sister Joan Norgren (Merle); and her in-laws, Dan Hondzinski and Kathy Helvig.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Sannes Osborne of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Ryan Siewert (Amanda) of Eden Prairie, MN and Claire Siewert (Logan Jaszkowiak); and her siblings, Alice Hondzinski of Baton Rouge, LA and Richard Helvig of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by five nieces and a nephew.
