He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Lothenbach, and Frank Lothenbach, Sr.. He is survived by: his close friends, Frank and Jack; his children, Clare Lothenbach, Audrey Lothenbach, Michael Lothenbach and Ryan Lothenbach; his brothers, Frank Lothenbach Jr. (Valerie) and Jack Lothenbach; his nieces, Nicole Nelson and Alyssa Essig (Jason); and his pet Bella.

Bob's philanthropic work was anchored by his formation of the Lothenbach Family Foundation, with a focus on children's literacy and race horses.
