With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Strandlie (Bloomington, Minnesota), born in Hayfield, Minnesota, who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Scharberg and Alice Scharberg (Lee); her husband Clayton; her daughter Kathy (Robert Dean); her grandson Matthew (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Bobbi and Harper; and her sisters, Dorothy Kruger (Robert) and Ann Hein (Rick).

“My father, john (jack) owen conklin is clayton’s first cousin. Living in california we were unaware and just discovered mavis’ passing. We send our sympathy and condolences to clayton and the entire family. I am jacks daughter, kathy and growing up i was fortunate to see clayton and mavis often. My grandma is beulah strandlie conklin! Loved spending time with them and our family(including beulah) loved them.i hope this reaches the family, specifically clayton. Dolores jacks wife died4/8/20”
