The passing of Lillian R. Knafla of Bloomington, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 104. She was predeceased by: her parents, Swedish and Ruby Lundquist (Fridlund); her husband Loran; her son Richard; her brother Dana (Jerusalem); her grandsons, Michael Kleve and Allan Knafla; and her sons-in-law, Larry Kleve and Greg Savage.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Kleve, Karen Lorenson (Dick), Rebecca Jones (Dave) and Rene Savage; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Knafla. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Lutheran Church (7045 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55423). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ft Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
