He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Peterson and Katherine Peterson (Moser); his grandparents, Ernest, Catherine Moser (Helms), Oscar and Grace Peterson (Houston); his siblings, Gordon (Ann) and Gayle Mattison; and his in-laws, Isi, Rita Harpenau, Julie Layeux and Grace Rutan.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Harpenau of Bloomington; his children, Stacy Feliciano (Joey) of Princeton, MN, Cory (Angela) of Bogota and Timothy of Milford, Iowa; his stepgrandchildren, Randy, Leah (Dan), Hunter and Ronan; his siblings, Sharon Reller (Gordy) and Bruce (Lanette); and his in-laws, Jerry Mattison, Donna Nuebel (Lynn), Sara Gralapp (Denny), Susie McCall (Randy), Colleen Meyer (Jack), Ken (Jane), Ned (Jane), Steve (Lynda), Joe Harpenau (Marcia) and Bob Layeux.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Bloomington Chapel (2300 W Old Shakopee Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55431). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crosspoint Church (9801 France Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Tunnel to Towers or Disabled Vets.
