He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Stangler and Lillian Stangler (Wesely). He is survived by: his significant other Cheryl; his daughter Karin; his son-in-law John; his granddaughters, Mary Jane (MJ) and Elizabeth (Betsy); his father-in-law Andy; his brother Ed; his siblings-in-law, Mary, Giselle, Jeff and Maureen; and his siblings, Jerome, Lawrence and Lorraine. He is also survived by extended family, which included many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and treasured friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the Nativity of Mary Catholic Church (9900 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55420). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Leo's name can be made to Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
