He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivo Determan and Margaret Determan; and his sister Rita Larson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Edwardsen; his children, Lori Strand (John Pfeiffer), Michelle Johnston, Lance Determan (Lisa) and Will Determan; and his siblings, Monica Odom, Betty Coleman, Delphen Determan (Cindy), Mary Catherine Struchen, Bernadette Athmann (Thomas), Therese Roberts (Brian), Anthony Determan (Trina) and Gregory Determan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to N C Little Memorial Hospice, Glioblastoma Research Organization, or DAV Disabled American Veterans.
