She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis O'Brien and Elsie O'Brien; her sisters, Joan and Jackie; and her siblings-in-law, Grace Joan Schrantz and Joseph Murnan.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Blake (Joan), Karrie (Tom), Kellie (Bill), Shawn (Amy) and Ryan (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ellie, Katie, Jake, Rory, Maggie, Joey, Kevin, Kieran, Maura and Molly; her siblings, Mary, Patrick, Gregory and Teresa (Julie); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Murnan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Though Alzheimer's gradually affected her memory, Julie's spirit remained alive through her poetry and the cherished memories of those who loved her.
