Hansen of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anhart Hansen and Ina Hansen (Hjelman); and his siblings, Eugene "Axel" Hansen, Carol Wright, Jeanette Underwood, Eileen Peterson, Helen Mehus, Ann Anderson and Dean Hansen.
He is survived by: his spouse LaRae "Lu" Hansen of Blooming Prairie; his daughters, Tracey Welch (Paul) of Rochester, Katherine Strouckel of Rochester, Denise Robins (Scott) of North Branch, Michele Freeman (Stefan) of St. Cloud and Angela Michaelson (Cory) of Owatonna; his siblings, Robert Hansen (Judy) of Blooming Prairie, Marie Seykora of Lilydale, Karen Freiheit of Stewartville, Jim Hansen (Pat) of Austin, Judy Livingston (Dave) of Dodge Center and Terry Hansen (Robin) of Owatonna; and also, Denise, Michele and Angela. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Memorials are preferred to the Blooming Prairie American Legion Post #52, Aurora Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
