She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Smith and Cecil Smith; her husband Wally Peterson; her son Gregory Peterson; and her sister Patricia Green.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristen Wilker (Kent); her daughter-in-law Linda Peterson; her grandchildren, Michelle Dempsey, Tiffany Peterson, Chad Wilker (Jill) and Abby Wilker (Sergio Maya); her great grandchildren, Noah Dempsey, Maveda Warner, Kortney Dempsey, Emma Dempsey and Hudson Silva; her siblings, Eileen Buchanan and Eugene Smith (Janie); her sister-in-law Patricia Peterson; her pet Kitty; and her caregiver Linda Thompson. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (434 1st St SW, Blooming Prairie, MN 55917). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the United Way, First Lutheran Church, or donor's choice.
