He was predeceased by: his father Stanley; and his siblings, Robert Boone, Leslie Boone and Theresa Schmig. He is survived by: his wife Karla of Blomkest; his mother Joanne; his stepfather Dennis Schmig of Stockholm, SD; his children, Josh of Willmar and Shelby of Atwater; his granddaughter Natalie Boone; his siblings-in-law, Toni Boone and Kevin; and also, Deering of Atwater, Nathan, Becky, Moorse, Denise Kleuss and Schimmel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
