He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pennings and Johanna Pennings (Gesink); his wife Marti Pennings; and his daughter Pamela Pennings. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Gail, Joslyn Marie, Michael Lawrence, Tamara Lou and Lauretta Ann; his grandchildren, Teri Enriquez of Minneapolis, Tiffany Enriquez (Ariah), Bronson Enriquez and Sophia Groess (Nick); and his children, Jodi Kleinjan (Willis) of Avon, Wesley Kleinjan, Christa Christensen (Aaron), Kayla Harcourt (Josh), Erin Olson (Connor), Mike Pennings (Sue) of Renville, Steve Pennings, Brittany Rohlick (Dan), Adam Pennings (Mollie), Holly Pennings, Tami Goehring (Bryan) of Albany, Emily Loxtercamp (Eric), John Goehring (Alyssa), Alyssa Goehring, Jennifer Goehring, Wendi Piller (Greg) of Kenyon, Brock Piller (Lauren), Mikayla Quade (Ethan), Chenoa Grove (Seth), Anna Piller, Laurie Holtz (Dan) of Willmar, Amy Holtz (Warren), Ellie Boros (Scott) and Josh Holtz (Abigail). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
