She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Skoglund and Gladys Skoglund (Anderson); her husband Marvin M. Peterson; her son Kevin; and her brother Wanlo.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Mickelsen (Bob Rand) of Carver, Carol Nelson (Lon) of Bloomington, Steven Peterson of Monticello and Lynell Gapinski (John) of Chaska; her grandchildren, Dana Nelson (Miranda), Kirsten Wallace (Jeremiah), Andrea Stulz (Jeff), Tracy Paumen (Joshua), Lucas Peterson (Kristine), Kyle Gillis and Corey Gillis; her stepgrandsons, John Gapinski and Nicholas Gapinski; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Grussing (Louis). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Svea Lutheran Church.
