She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregory F. Wenner and Leona Wenner (Barthel); her son Steven Mengelkoch; and her siblings, Jack, Roger Wenner and Joanne Leuer.

She is survived by: her husband Hugh W. "Buck" Mengelkoch; and her children, Greg, Larry, Lorri and Shelly Mengelkoch. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (20, 000 County Road #10, Corcoran). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
