He was predeceased by: his daughter Denise McDevitt; and his son-in-law Troy Dahlin. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Barbara Dahlin-Hanson and Bob Olsen (Kiki); his son-in-law Dion McDevitt; his grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Brian, Tori, Tony, Ryan, Tyler, Anna, Alex and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Kyler, Chase, Ryder, Arianna and Austin; and his siblings, Loren Olsen (Fran) and Carol Anderson (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coon Rapids Chapel (1827 Coon Rapids Blvd, Coon Rapids, MN 55433). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
