He is survived by: his former wife Marlene "Molly" Mia; his wife Miriam Osborn-Dougherty of Blackduck; his children, Jennifer Swedan (Heithem) of Hillsboro, OR, Kristy Doughtery of Hillsboro, OR and Nicholas Dougherty of Portland, OR; his siblings, Judy Killczoski (Gary) of Fort Frances, Ontario, Nancy Puller (Greg) of Blackduck, MN, Julie Dougherty (Megan) of South Bend, IN and Dwayne Dougherty (Wendy) of International Falls, MN; his grandchildren, Seth Almquest (Licia Cress) of Hillsboro, OR, Jeremiah Dougherty of Hillsboro, OR and Emily Almquist of Hillsboro, OR; and his great grandchild Charlie Almquest of Hillsboro, OR. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews; 47 great nieces and nephews; and 20 great-great nieces and nephews.
