It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Pater of Blackduck, Minnesota, born in Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Pater and Minnie Pater (Janssen); his wife Karen O'Brien; and his siblings, Mary Jane Pater and Gary Pater.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Charley of Brooklyn Center, MN, John Pater (Terry) and Greg Pater; his grandchildren, Lauri Bressler (Mark), Brian Pater (Andrea), Julie Juelson (Kelly), Stacy George, David Pater and Brett Pater (McKenzi Burmeister); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Nicole Bressler, Tanner George (Becca), Michael, Trenten Juelson, Christian Pater, Ellee George, Carter Pater, Trey George, Jacobi, Brace, Ryan Burmeister-Pater and Emma Pater; and his great great grandchildren, Camryn and Treyce George.
