William Holmes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, at the age of 81, William Holmes (Biwabik, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Holmes and Louise Holmes (Sedgeman); and his sister Betty Jo Zumbrunnen. He is survived by: his wife Lucia Karki; his children, Danita Saari of Mt. Iron, Diana Takanen (Danny) of Gilbert and Dan Holmes of Virginia; his stepchildren, Komra Salo, Laura Wirkkala, David Karki and Peggy Thibault; his grandchildren, Kylie, Chloie Saari, Taylor Ptacek (Nate), Noah Mensink, Jordan Takanen, Ian and Gavyn Holmes; and his siblings, Robert Holmes (Pat) of Aurora and Chris Korpi (Kevin) of Otsego. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
