He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Toini Johnson (Vietanen); his sons, Brian Johnson (Eva) of Embarrass and Lance Johnson; and his brother-in-law Dale Olmstead.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Olmstead; his granddaughter Kaylee Maki (Kirk) of Aurora; his great grandchildren, Jax, Eli and Emery Maki; and his siblings, Ralph Johnson (Sherry) of Palo and Diane Sawyer of Clear Lake, CA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and several brothers and sisters in law.
