With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Croteau of Biwabik, Minnesota, born in Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Croteau to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Korpi and Mary Korpi (Green); her husband Joseph "Poots" Croteau; her grandson Eric Croteau; her siblings, Steven, James "Bucky", Patrick, Suzanne Korpi and Francie Peyla; and her brothers-in-law, Steven "Stebo" Thompson and Robert "Bob" Peyla.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry Croteau (Lee) of Lake Vermilion, Bob Croteau (Cecilia) of Biwabik and Scott Croteau (Crystal); her grandchildren, Jason Croteau (Holly), Tara Anderson (Matt), Celene Butler, Tawnee Croteau and Kendra Lewis (Joe); her great grandchildren, Cody, Jacob, Daniel, Erika, Lucas, Max, Alanna, Brent, Beau and Sophia; her great great grandchild Leila; her sisters, Jacquelyn Thompson, Helen Axelson (Dick) and Debbie Vito; and her sisters-in-law, Merle Korpi, Joann Korpi and Joyce Zidarich. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Current COVID mandates including masks and social distancing will be followed.
