Ruth McNamara Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 92, Ruth McNamara of Bird Island, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Altmann and Amelia Altmann (Bastian); her husband William McNamara; her brothers, Roland (Bernice) and Earl (Bev); and her siblings-in-law, Donald (Carol) and Lois Skinner (Gordy).
She is survived by: her children, Maria Zenk (Steve) of Danube, Louise Neeser (Mark) of St. Cloud, Anita Sonnek (Matt) of Waconia, John McNamara of Bird Island, Joe McNamara of Bird Island and Paul McNamara (Sue) of Bird Island. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four step-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Mary's School.
