Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Meyer and Viola Meyer (Forcier); her son Allen Meyer; and her siblings, Donald Meyer, Art Meyer and Frances Iverson.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Jo Mattson (Darrell); her daughter-in-law Linda Meyer; and her grandchildren, Paul Mattson, Lisa Cummins (Dan), Michael Meyer (Cathy) and Todd Meyer. She is also survived by her 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (220 S 10th St, Bird Island, MN 55310). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
