He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Jacobs and Maxine Jacobs (Holmes); his brother Joe; and his nephew Jeremiah Jacobs. He is survived by: his daughter Jeanine Halloran; his granddaughters, Aunna Halloran and Victoria Nelson; and his siblings, Kathy (Larry), John Jacobs (Judy), Louise Jacobs, Paul Jacobs (Deb), Jim Jacobs (Theresa), Mary Wallenta (Jeff) and Andrew Jacobs (David Depew).
