He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lindner; his children, Lei Meier (Steve), Rick Oie (Jill) and Katrina Rodenberger (Dean); his siblings, Olaf "Ray" Oie (Nona) and Beverly Sandberg (Sheldon); and his grandchildren, Morgan Oie (Zack) and Cole Oie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
