He was predeceased by: his wife Avis Novak; his grandchildren, Jacob and Castille Novak; and his siblings-in-law, Al Frank and Pamela Novak.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Jorgensen (Mark) of Ramsey, James Novak (Amy) of Andover, Barbara Atkinson of Princeton and Frank Novak of Zimmerman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
