With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Floyd Ramthun of Big Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ramthun and Edythe Ramthun (Dixon); his wife Dorothy Ramthun; his daughter Brenda Ramthun; his grandchildren, Angela James and Nathaniel Bentley; his great grandchild Katelyn Buscher; and his sister Yvonne Visser.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Shackelton (James) of Monticello, Connie Guillet (Dave) of Minnetonka, Mary Bentley of Big Lake, Robert Ramthun (Kelly) of Clarkfield and Gail James of Elk River; his brother William Ramthun (Susan) of Hillman; and his brother-in-law Harry Visser of Maple Plain. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, many in laws; other relatives and friends including his dog.
