He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron and Beverly. He is survived by: his significant other Helen; his children, Steven Swanson (Elisse) of Big Lake, MN, Lisa Titus (Randy) of Murphys, CA, Marc Thompson and Diana Thompson; his siblings, Dennis Swanson, Keith Swanson, Dean Swanson and Doris Gabala; and also, Todd Estrem (Tawnya) and Pamela Thuleen (Randy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his second wife.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to The American Cancer Society or Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake, MN.
