He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Caroline Brott Sr. (Stolpman); his wife Mary Sowada; and his siblings, Francis Brott, Louise Marie Brott and Rosina Nelson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marie Hoium of Madison, Sylvia Hoihjelle (James) of Rice, Louie Brott of Little Falls and Judy Schommer (Mike) of Brainerd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
