Gene Dinsmore Axvig Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2018, at the age of 90, Gene Dinsmore Axvig (Big Lake, Minnesota), born in Edinburg, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Axvig and Allette Axvig; his children, Laurence Axvig of Loren Axvig and LuAnn Newberry; his son-in-law Doug Knudson; and his siblings, Muriel Bakken, James Axvig, Kermit Axvig, Ernest Axvig, Maynard Axvig and Alva Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his daughter Linda Knudson; his grandchildren, Jason Axvig, Erin Knudson, Kasey Knudson, Natalie Newberry, Daniel Axvig and Shannon Axvig; and also Gerry. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; half-siblings, Marion Troftgruben, Erna (Rou) Fronk, Lorna (Don) Pesek; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gene's family who will make a donation in his name to a charitable cause.
