She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hudson and Gertrude Hudson (Kellar); her siblings, Richard Hudson, Eldora Nokk and Daisy Lamm; her son Richard Backlund Jr.; her son-in-law Rome Lowe; and her granddaughters, Amanda Klatt and Shannon Backlund.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Richard Backlund and Gordon Lanz; her daughters, Sandra Lowe of Powder Springs, Sally Berthiaume (Jeffrey) of Becker and Sheila Berthiaume (Jerome) of Big Lake; her grandchildren, Teri Harris (Ricky), Cory Lowe, Joseph Backlund (Trisha), Stephanie Backlund, Joshua Berthiaume (Hayley), Lindsay Strandberg (Cody), Kelsey Berthiaume, Amy Berthiaume (Ronnie), Timothy Berthiaume (Randi) and Angela Berthiaume (Jason); her great grandchildren, Andrea, Kristie, Savanna, Jackson, Skyler, Cheyenne, Braxton, Lainey, Kendall, Austin, Autumn, Ruby, Avery, Lyla and Irria; her great great grandchildren, Charlotte, Amelia, Estella and Bennett; and her daughter-in-law Mona Backlund.
