She is survived by: her sons, Monte Nelson (April) of Big Falls, Troy Nelson (Joan) of Big Falls and Perry Nelson (Melanie) of Bagley, MN; her grandchildren, Courtney Carlson (Trevor) of Coon Rapids, MN, Ryan Sharpe (Alyssa) of Baxter, MN, Vince Sharpe of Staples, MN, Mitch Nelson of International Falls, MN, Amanda Zapzalka (Chet) of Mandan, ND, Breanna Nelson of Grand Forks, ND and Drew Nelson of Bagley, MN; her great grandchildren, Paxton Sharpe, Alice Carlson, Parker Sharpe, Flora Carlson, Josie Carlson, Griffin Sharpe, Austin Sharpe and Brylin Zapzalka; her siblings, Lloyd Barg (Donna) of International Falls, MN, Andy Barg Jr. of Brainerd, MN, Arlene Peterson (Dale) of Littlefork, MN and Janice Schmitz of Vergas, MN; her siblings-in-law, Dave Kilmer of Northome, MN, Betty Hollan of Oak Grove, MN, Darlene Newlander (Harvey) of Nevis, MN, Ellen Nelson of Otsego, MN, Jan Nelson of Big Falls, MN, Dianne Nelson of Ely, MN and Karen Duggan of Glenwood, AR; and her nephew Billy Demuth of Warroad, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (415 9th Ave, International Falls, MN 56649). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
