She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Ziemer and Elmer Ziemer; her brother Lyle Ziemer; her son-in-law Leroy Carl Hanson Jr.; and her brother-in-law Lester Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Genz (Rick), May Hanson, Laura Skalbeck (Mark), David Mell, Daniel Mell (MariKay), Catina Mell, Jerald Mell and Matthew Mell; and her siblings, Eleanore Benson (William), Velma Peterson, Arlene Santama (Garrett) and Delmar Ziemer (Nancy). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
