He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin May and Amanda May (Umland); his wife Ruby; and his siblings, Vernon May, Verla Stark and Bernita Schmitz.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Olson (Anita) of Portland, OR, Roxann Ireland (John) of Portland, OR, Scott Olson (Tina) of Lubbock, TX and Julie Deiss (George) of Wadena. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of friends.
