She was predeceased by: her parents, Dietrich Juergens and Ida Juergens (Meinhardt); her husband Marvin; her grandson Benson Koestner; her sister Lu Drevlow (Ewald); her parents-in-law, Otto and Hazel Samuelson; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys Samuelson and Velma Bjorstrom (Ray).

She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Doris) of Phoenix, AZ, Gary (Lauri) of Charlotte, NC and Jane Dettmer (Scott) of Faribault, MN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
