It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Elaine Bausman of Benson, Minnesota, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Tostenson and Pearl Tostenson (Blom); her husband Wendell Bausman; her siblings, Jan Rieppel (Tostenson) and Art Tostenson; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome and Donna Jerve (Bausman).

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Bausman (Peggy) of Benson and Brian Bausman (Kristin) of Detroit Lakes; her grandchildren, Molly Weismantel (Jared) of St. Paul, Anne Bausman of St. Paul, Megan Huus (Jason) of Perham, Rachel Bausman of St. Paul and Nathan Bausman of Detroit Lakes; her great grandchild Fallon Huus; her brother Dave Tostenson (Jan) of Glenwood; and her sister-in-law Maxine Tostenson of Madison.

“I’m so sorry to hear of your loss… I have fond memories of her. When moving to Benson she was my 3rd grade teacher! LOVED. I didn’t know how to write in cursive. She taught me and said I had the best penmanship by the end of the year! Unfortunately that is no longer the case. I remember her announcing to the class the day she was wearing a wig 😉. We moved 2 doors down from her. I remember her asking about when my brother David was about to be born. Blessings to you!”
