With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Adeline Emma Reich of Benson, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Grothe and Rosa Grothe (Hermann); her husband Lyland Reich of Redeemer's Lutheran Church; and her siblings, Ewald Grothe, Paul Grothe, Rosa Koenen, Hilda Swenson and Beatrice Beyer.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Runke (Dave) of Willmar, Clarice Novak (Randy) of Willmar, Violet Baerwaldt (Robin), Vivian Clark (Doug) of Benson, Milton Reich of Holloway, Marvin Reich of Willmar and Mary Tensen (Greg) of Brooten; her grandchildren, Matthew Runke (Alicia), Doug Runke (Margaret), Nathan Runke, Alissa Kubasch (Nick), Amanda Hansen (Nathan), Beth Novak, Marissa Croatt (Eric), Megan Bousquet (Keinen), Chad Clark, Josh Clark, Ben Tensen, Jacob Tensen and Cassandra Tensen (Wyatt); her stepgrandson Les Baerwaldt (Rosie); her great grandchildren, Madison, Ellie, Nolan, Avery, Beckett, Declan, Morgan, Harley, Elora, Evander, Bailey, Miles, Kyrie Bousquet, Amberlee and Evan; and her sister-in-law Shirley Grothe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church (800 10th St S, Benson, MN 56215).
