We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 95, Joyce June Rhode of Benson, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce June Rhode to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Rekstad and Alma Rekstad; her husband Anthony Rhode (Tony); and her siblings, Marlene Rekstad, Kendall Rekstad, Noreta Rekstad and Verona Suter.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Rhode, Carol Roitenberg (Steve) and Bev Miller (Craig); and also, Roger Rekstad (Sharon), Lois Torgerson and Marilyn Secretario (Danny). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen beautiful great-grandchildren; and her beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Swift County Food Shelf in Benson, MN.

I live in Alexandria now and with the current weather conditions I am playing it safe and staying home. We have icy roads and wind as well as snow at this time. Cars are traveling very slow past our home. It is my hopes that the service will be available through the church web site and if so, I will be there with you. God Bless. Sending hugs to all.
