He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rode of Benson; his children, Cindy Walsh of Benson, Brad Rode (Chauntel) of Benson, Dawn Grossman (Mike) of Benson and Aimee Dale (Jeff) of Olivia; and his siblings, Mike Rode (Sue) of Andover and Patsy Hetrick (Bill) of Benson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and several other relatives and friends.
