He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Moist and Ethel Moist (Conrad); and his son Keith. He is survived by: his wife Merna Mathis of DeGraff; his children, Daniel Moist (Andrea) of DeGraff and Lorie Hall (Scott) of Wood Lake; his grandchildren, Christopher Moist, Daniel Hall, Zacharih Moist (Aleah), Mackenzie Moist, Christian Moist and Domminick Moist; his brother David; and his half-sisters, Judy and Elaine.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery - Kerkhoven Hwy.
