He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphie Hanson and Myra Hanson (Alden); and his siblings, Robert, Derald, Myron Hanson and Ardis Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Berget of Glenwood; his children, Chris Hanson (Sheri) of Bismarck, ND, Julie Hanson of Glenwood and Rob Hanson (Trudy) of Starbuck; his grandchildren, Caitlin Desme (Grant), Kelsey Hanson (Gavin Huntley), Sarah Hanson, Quinn Hanson, Owen Hanson and Sophia Hanson; his great grandchildren, Gemma Desme, Charlie Desme, Declan Desme and Margo Huntley; and his siblings-in-law, Elva Hanson and Dewayne Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
