He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Tieman and Agnes Tieman; his brother Elwood (Rhodella); and his niece Susie. He is survived by: his wife Lenay; his children, Andria (Ryan) of Newton, MA and Brett (Ashley Marie) of St. Paul, MN.; his granddaughters, Sloane Michney and Ingrid Tieman; his nephew Curtis (Jean); and his great-nieces, Vanessa and Michelle Tieman. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (123 29th St NE, Bemidji, MN 56601). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request Memorials be sent to The Gideons International, Trinity Lutheran Church, Sanford Bemidji Hospice, or The Lutheran Hour.
