He is survived by: his children, Heather Nowell (Marvin) of Texas, Cristen (Don), Cornell (Minnesota), Troy (Melanie), Mark Smith (Missouri), Ben Smith (Maryland), Gilbert (Jennifer) and Luna (California). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
